Well... it's been 8 years but I've finally decided to cease my self-imposed solitude of the heart. In less poetic terms... I've taken a girlfriend. It's a... good feeling, though one I'd nearly forgotten. The reasons for my staying single are many and varied and are too complicated to get into here and now, but I just couldn't resist the charms of this one lucky young lady...

Anyway... hey, life's looking fairly good at the moment. I've still got my own place, I'm still sober and I'm not starving to death so I'd say I'm very happy with what I got at the moment.

Ummm.. oh yeah, I'm doing really well in my Japanese classes Watashi wa nihongo no gakusei desu!
